Loveless Love

Let’s not pretend this is love
Our hearts are far apart
Just burn me with your touch
Induce my body to contort

One can not, love another
Yet caress with fragility
The simple pleasure to be
A state of true tranquility

Lips wrest for dominance
Amidst this intimate warfare
Only feelings emanating
Are from the heat that we share

Let me feel those pent up emotions
You can’t normally liberate
Take it out on me so delicately
Until everything evaporate

When the waterfall runs dry
Crawl inside and hibernate
At the end of the quaking
We’ll have a gem to commemorate

Loveless Love
